No. Students are always free. The platform is billed to the supervisor, faculty, or university.
Is our data hosted in Malaysia?+
On the University plan, yes — data residency in Malaysia is included. Lower tiers run on our managed regional infrastructure.
Can we customise the milestones?+
Faculty and University plans support custom milestone templates per programme — useful if your DBA or EdD has a different timeline.
Does Nirexa send emails from our domain?+
On the University plan we configure a custom From-domain (e.g. noreply@yourdomain.edu.my) with SPF and DKIM.
How long does onboarding take?+
Solo supervisors are live in under 10 minutes. A full university rollout typically completes in 2–3 weeks including SSO and training.
Can I cancel?+
Yes, cancel anytime. We bill annually but offer pro-rated refunds within the first 30 days, no questions asked.
